Ultimate Omega

The score explained
evidence, testing and value, weighed before price
Why 8.4 of 10: Provisional: strong ingredient evidence, top-tier testing and form.
- High EPA/DHA concentration in triglyceride form
- Third-party tested for purity and oxidation
- Long track record, lemon flavour masks fishiness
- Premium price per gram of omega-3
- Two softgels for the full dose
what the evidence says
Omega-3s are among the best-studied supplements in existence. The evidence is strong that EPA and DHA lower triglycerides and support cardiovascular risk markers, and solid for joint comfort and some measures of mood; large trials on preventing heart attacks in already-healthy people are more mixed. For brain and eye structure the case is mechanistically strong. If you rarely eat oily fish, supplementation closes a genuine gap; the main quality risks are dose and oxidation, which is where tested brands earn their premium.
